It had been in service with 209a Squadriglia, Regia Aeronautica, and was forced to land behind enemy lines when running out of fuel in September, 1941. It made its last flight from El Ballah airfield, Suez Canal Zone, on 27 September, 1944 and was then scrapped due to corrosion in the wing structure.[2]
